The Calendar Collaboration is a tradition that my friend Maeve and I have worked on together for four years now! We alternate months, and design to a common theme. For 2014 our theme was "animals."

I was commissioned by MKG (a marketing, social media, branding agency in NYC) to design Valentine's themed artwork to be used on temporary tattoos that were sent out in a mailer to their clients. It was a really fun project, plus the artwork board itself was the smallest size I had ever designed to!

These sweet prints were designed for the very lovely Tina at the Traveling Mama blog. They were offered as free downloadable prints for her readers in honor of Mother's Day.

Every year for 8 years, a friend of mine hosted a Holiday Boutique featuring local artists inside her house, and I participated every year, even after moving to Denmark. These notecards were designed for the last sale she hosted before taking a break to have a baby.

This collection for Target was especially fun to work on, as there were no real parameters except to have lemonade-themed artwork in "seasonally-appropriate" colors (as the previous year's collection was for some reason purple or blue). I think having that freedom really allowed this collection to blossom, growing from a few items to becoming an entire endcap sitting with powdered lemonade, and nearly selling out in just weeks!

To create the artwork, I actually painted the icons and lettering to give them a child-like hand-done quality. I worked with the vendors to create an engineered tablecloth that read "lemonade" in the front when placed on a typical folding table, and I also proposed items I felt were very important but missing from the previous year, such as a yard sign, a flat packed money box and hangable tree banner.

I was commissioned to design all the rebranding of a photography studio. They were changing their name and wanted their new brand image to reflect that. The project included designing: a completely new logo, choosing a color palette, creating accent patterns, choosing fonts, and creating all the website and social media buttons. In addition I designed hand-drawn typographic elements that the client could use on their stationery such as thank you cards, envelopes etc.

This artwork I created for Target was so much fun to see translate into different products cross-company, from party supplies to decor to home decor to blankets and pillows to stockings and more! This collection is geared to the whimsical and fun guest, which perfectly complimented my graphic style. My almost 15 minutes of fame include seeing the shaped pillow featuring my penguin on Modern Family and mugs with my characters on Community!

This collection for Target was designed to go on Back To College products, ranging from bedding to storage to bath to home decor. The multi-colored "Think Green" print was a top-selling design, across multiple departments!

This project for Target was fun, because we had each person on the Kids Bedding team design their own print following a pre-determined color palette. This resulted in a visually cohesive collection but with diversity of graphic styles and icons. My snowman and snowdog print is especially dear to my heart, as it was the first project as an assistant designer that my manager felt really showed my true personality.

Kids Party collections I designed for Target's launch of their new party brand Spritz. Excitingly, the Cupcake Collection became a top seller, even over taking the #1 Princess Collection for a period of time! I was also the lead designer on the Spritz launch, working with the Innovation team, Merchandising, Marketing and vendors involved with: guest research, trend research, artwork development, merchandising, art directing, and even got to test out kids party supplies during development :)
